Okay, now here is a pretty crazy and funny story. But recently Arthur Berkowitz took a flight from Anchorage to Philadelphia. The flight usually is around 7 hours. Thats a long flight, but you can sleep right? No, not so much. Arthur Berkowitz was forced to stand for that 7 hour flight. Thats crazy! And the reasoning behind this? Some guy was so obese that he was “spilling” over on to his seat and he couldn’t even sit down. The flight was completely full so there was no option for him, but to stand.

“His size required both arm rests to be raised up and allowed for his body to cover half of my seat” says Berkowitz.

Thats crazy! This guy was forced to stand during takeoff and landing, and wasn’t even allowed to sit in any of the flight attendent seats. Whats even crazier is the fact that he wrote the airline complaining about his troubles that he experienced and asked for a full refund or voucher, or just anything to try and make the situation better. His ticket was originally  $800, and the airline offerend him an $200 voucher. Wait… what!? This type of situation at the least requires a full refund! Hopefully this doesn’t happen anytime soon again, because I am definitely not standing for a full 7 hours flight.
